Written by John Russell Taylor, the eminent The Times critic, this eight-page fold-out booklet is a fully-illustrated record of Piano Nobile's 2013 exhibition, Cyril Mann: The Bevin Court Years 1956-1964. The exhibition and booklet mark the first-ever plaque to be placed on a council block which was unveiled at Bevin Court, Cruickshank Street, Islington in honour of the maverick artist and unlikely local hero, Cyril Mann (1911-1980), who did some of this finest paintings and sculpture whilst living at Bevin Court in a tiny flat from 1956 to 1964.
