A new exhibition opening at Dulwich Picture Gallery next month will include loan works arranged by Piano Nobile. Reframed: The Woman in the Window takes a thematic approach to its subject, eschewing chronology and bringing together over fifty works from the ancient to the contemporary. Piano Nobile has helped to organise the loan of works by Walter Sickert, Vanessa Bell and Euan Uglow. The exhibition will explore how the woman in the window has been used over the centuries 'to elicit a particular kind of response ranging from empathy to voyeurism'.
Reframed: The Window in the Window will be on display at Dulwich Picture Gallery from 4 May to 4 September 2022.
