Frieze Masters: Regents Park, London
Piano Nobile are exhibiting at Frieze Masters in London, highlighting paintings, drawings and sculpture by twentieth-century British artists. Our curated display will illustrate key episodes in British art of the last century. Highlights include a rarely publically seen major Barbara Hepworth, a group of key artworks from our Sickert exhibition (Love, Death & Ennui opening September 26), and a mini retrospective of Howard Hodgkin through three signature works.
We will also show work by early modernists including Slade School artists Paul Nash and Stanley Spencer, mid-century modernists Henry Moore and Ben Nicholson, School of London painters Frank Auerbach, Lucian Freud, R. B. Kitaj and Leon Kossoff, and abstract and more contemporary turn of the century work by artists such as Grayson Perry, Edmund de Waal and Paula Rego.
