William Crozier

The Lightbox, Woking

Opening this spring, a rare and exciting exhibition considers the early landscape work of William Crozier. Focusing on just three years of his output between 1959 and 1962, the display shows Crozier walking a tightrope between representation and abstraction. Atmospheric marshland sites, conjured in gestural sweeps of pure colour, will hang alongside works on paper not previously exhibited in public. The exhibition is organised in partnership with Piano Nobile and the William Crozier Estate.
